Indonesia, as an archipelagic nation, possesses maritime potential and coastal local wisdom, developed through long-standing interactions between humans and the marine environment. Both potentials can serve as relevant and contextual learning resources within the Merdeka Curriculum. However, implementation has not been optimally and systematically implemented. This article aims to comprehensively analyze the potential for integrating maritime and coastal local wisdom within the Merdeka Curriculum through a literature review approach. The research employed a comprehensive literature review method, examining various relevant sources. The analysis was conducted through the stages of identification, selection, evaluation, and synthesis, and interpreted in light of research findings related to efforts to integrate maritime potential and coastal local wisdom within the Merdeka Curriculum. The study's results indicate that integration efforts can be implemented through intracurricular, cocurricular, and extracurricular activities. The appropriate learning approach and model is a project-based contextual learning model. Challenges faced in implementing maritime potential and coastal local wisdom include limited teacher competency due to a lack of training and mentoring, limited facilities and infrastructure, and inadequate technological devices to support learning activities.
